More on Our Auto Service Specialties
Brake Inspection, Repair & Service
You must be able to rely on your vehicle’s braking system to give you maximum stopping power when you need it, so if you are experiencing any symptoms of a brake problem, such as squealing, grinding, or slow braking response time, it’s time for a brake inspection to identify necessary brake repairs. If you haven’t had your brakes serviced in some time, it’s also a good idea to give us a call. Our mechanics are experienced and professionally trained, and we’re undercar experts skilled at handling all phases of brake repair and service.
Catalytic Converters
If your check engine light is on, it may have been triggered by a failing or malfunctioning catalytic converter. If so, some auto repair shops may tell you that you need a new catalytic converter without any hesitation or further investigation. Indeed, it may be the case that you do need a new catalytic converter. Other times, the issue might just be a malfunctioning oxygen sensor, or your catalytic converter is full of crud. Before we replace your catalytic converter, we’ll check for failing oxygen sensors and contamination.
Custom Exhaust Systems
Shop owner Mark Laudenslager and ASE Master-certified technician Devin Ellis specialize in exhaust work for all domestic and import vehicles, especially custom exhaust systems featuring custom mufflers, resonators, turbochargers, custom pipes, and other high-performance exhaust components. If you’re not satisfied with your vehicle’s stock exhaust system, LT Automotive can give you the power and sound you want. Give us a call today to talk about your ideas, and we’ll let you know how we can take your vehicle to the next level.

Our facility is equipped to handle motorhome repair and service, so bring your RV to LT if you’re getting ready to hit the road, or if you’re traveling through Reno and need RV service or repairs. We’ll do the work your motorhome needs based on your needs and budget. We also do welding and fabrication at LT Automotive, so we can help with structural repairs and part installation, such as fifth wheel hitches and tow bars, as well as mechanical repairs. Whatever you need (or want) for your motorhome, we’re ready help.
Scheduled Maintenance
Most vehicle manufacturers recommend a 30K, 60K, 90K, and 120K preventive maintenance schedule for optimum performance and efficiency. However, as experienced auto repair technicians, we know many drivers don’t stick to a routine vehicle maintenance schedule—hey, you’re busy and your car’s running fine, right? In fact, you could end up neglecting an important service and inadvertently cause the need for a major auto repair down the road. Let us help you prioritize scheduled maintenance, and you’ll enjoy a longer lasting vehicle.
Suspension Systems
Modern vehicles benefit from more precise and complex suspension systems than in the past, which means suspension system components have become increasingly critical for your car’s overall performance. If you’re experiencing a shaky, rough ride, your struts and/or shocks could be the problem, or you may need another type of frontend service, like a wheel alignment. Our mechanics can handle any suspension system repairs you need, and we’re experts at wheel alignments, with state-of-the-art wheel alignment equipment.
